Publication Fees

PAJRI is committed to keeping scholarly publishing accessible while maintaining the editorial, peer-review, production and digital infrastructure required for professional open-access publication.

Standard Article Processing Charge

The standard Article Processing Charge (APC) for this journal is US$30. No APC is required at the point of submission. Authors should not make payment until they have received an official acceptance notification from the editorial office.

What the APC Supports

  • Initial editorial management and manuscript screening;
  • Administration and coordination of peer review;
  • Editorial communication with authors and reviewers;
  • Production processing of accepted manuscripts;
  • Online publication and hosting;
  • DOI registration and assignment for published articles;
  • Preparation for discovery and indexing services;
  • Long-term digital preservation and archiving; and
  • Maintenance of the journal's publishing infrastructure.

Payment Process

After formal acceptance, the corresponding author will receive payment instructions. The APC should normally be completed within two (2) days after acceptance to support timely production and placement in the scheduled issue. Failure to complete payment may delay publication.

DOI Assignment

DOI assignment is included in the APC at no additional charge. A DOI provides a persistent and citable identifier for the published article and supports long-term discovery and citation.

Waivers and Discounts

PAJRI recognises that financial constraints may affect some researchers. Partial waivers or discounts may be considered on a case-by-case basis, including requests from authors in resource-limited settings, early-career researchers without institutional support, or authors facing exceptional financial hardship. Requests should preferably be made during submission.

Refund Policy

APC payments are non-refundable once an article has been published online. A manuscript withdrawn before publication may be considered for a partial refund depending on the stage of editorial and production work already completed and any applicable administrative costs.
