Reviewers and Editorial Contributors

PAJRI depends on the expertise of qualified academics, researchers and professionals who contribute to rigorous, fair and timely scholarly evaluation. Suitable specialists are encouraged to participate in peer review and, where appropriate, to be considered for editorial responsibilities.

Reviewer Responsibilities

• Accept only assignments that match their expertise and available time;
• Evaluate manuscripts objectively and constructively;
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding submitted work;
• Declare any actual or potential conflict of interest;
• Identify important scholarly weaknesses, unsupported claims or relevant literature that requires attention;
• Avoid personal, discriminatory or inappropriate comments; and
• Submit reviews within the agreed review period whenever possible.

Reviewer Recognition

Reviewers who successfully complete seven (7) manuscript reviews within six (6) months will receive one (1) complimentary article publication (APC waiver) in any PAJRI journal, subject to PAJRI's reviewer-recognition requirements.

The incentive recognises completed, substantive and professionally acceptable reviews. Editorial Board membership by itself does not automatically confer an APC waiver; the review-completion requirement must be satisfied.

Editorial Participation

Editorial contributors are expected to support the journal's academic standards, scope development, ethical publishing practices, reviewer engagement and fair editorial decision-making. Appointments are based on relevant qualifications, scholarly expertise, professional standing and the needs of the journal.

Professional Conduct

Reviewers and editors must protect confidential information, avoid misuse of unpublished material and disclose conflicts that may affect impartial judgement. PAJRI may discontinue reviewer or editorial participation where expected standards of professionalism, confidentiality or research integrity are not maintained.
