Pan-African Journal of Research and Innovation in Applied Natural Sciences accepts scholarly manuscripts that make a clear, original and relevant contribution to its field. The journal's principal article categories include:

• Original Research Articles: Full-length reports of original experimental, observational or analytical research with clearly stated methods, results and scholarly contribution.
• Review Articles: Critical and structured syntheses of established or emerging areas of the natural sciences that identify trends, gaps and future research directions.
• Short Communications: Concise reports of important preliminary findings, novel observations, methods or datasets that merit rapid scholarly communication.
• Methodological Papers: Studies presenting, validating or improving scientific methods, laboratory procedures, analytical techniques or research tools.
• Data and Laboratory Studies: Well-documented experimental, measurement or data-focused studies that contribute reusable evidence or scientific insight.

General Expectations

Regardless of article type, submissions should have a clearly defined purpose, appropriate engagement with relevant scholarship, a transparent method or analytical framework, coherent presentation and conclusions that follow from the evidence or argument.

Authors should select the article type that best reflects the nature of their manuscript. The editorial team may recommend reclassification where another category better represents the submitted work.

Language and Presentation

Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English and prepared in accordance with the journal's author guidelines. Tables, figures, data, quotations and supplementary materials should be relevant, accurately presented and properly acknowledged.
