Article Types

Pan-African Journal of Research and Innovation in Computer Science and Mathematical Theory accepts scholarly manuscripts that make a clear, original and relevant contribution to its field. The journal's principal article categories include:

• Original Research Articles: Full papers presenting new computational, algorithmic, mathematical, theoretical or empirical contributions.
• Review Articles: Critical syntheses of computer-science, AI, data-science or mathematical research and emerging directions.
• Algorithm and Method Papers: Studies proposing, analysing or validating algorithms, computational methods, architectures or mathematical procedures.
• Technical Papers: Applied work describing system design, implementation, testing, performance or software and computing solutions.
• Mathematical and Theoretical Papers: Rigorous contributions to mathematical theory, modelling, proofs, formal analysis or computational theory.

General Expectations

Regardless of article type, submissions should have a clearly defined purpose, appropriate engagement with relevant scholarship, a transparent method or analytical framework, coherent presentation and conclusions that follow from the evidence or argument.

Authors should select the article type that best reflects the nature of their manuscript. The editorial team may recommend reclassification where another category better represents the submitted work.

Language and Presentation

Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English and prepared in accordance with the journal's author guidelines. Tables, figures, data, quotations and supplementary materials should be relevant, accurately presented and properly acknowledged.
