Pan-African Journal of Research and Innovation in Business, Finance and Management accepts scholarly manuscripts that make a clear, original and relevant contribution to its field. The journal's principal article categories include:

• Original Research Articles: Empirical or analytical studies contributing new knowledge in business, finance, economics, entrepreneurship or management.
• Review Articles: Critical evidence syntheses that map established knowledge and identify gaps for research, policy or managerial practice.
• Case Studies: In-depth analyses of firms, markets, institutions, programmes, industries, strategies or management challenges.
• Business and Policy Analyses: Evidence-based examinations of regulatory, economic, corporate or institutional issues affecting organisations and markets.
• Management and Entrepreneurship Studies: Research on leadership, organisation, innovation, enterprise development, finance and entrepreneurial ecosystems.

General Expectations

Regardless of article type, submissions should have a clearly defined purpose, appropriate engagement with relevant scholarship, a transparent method or analytical framework, coherent presentation and conclusions that follow from the evidence or argument.

Authors should select the article type that best reflects the nature of their manuscript. The editorial team may recommend reclassification where another category better represents the submitted work.

Language and Presentation

Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English and prepared in accordance with the journal's author guidelines. Tables, figures, data, quotations and supplementary materials should be relevant, accurately presented and properly acknowledged.
